In this season I believe that if you show-up then God will show-up.  If you show-up and give your business or ministry your all – in spite of the lack of activity, in spite of the slowdown, if you apply your faith and continue to do the things that you know to do, God will meet you in your areas of need and He will be your full supply.  This is a season to speak to lack in your life and say my God, Jehovah is the God of abundance!

You are being given a new source of identity – not in what you do but in who you are in Him.  Your help says the Lord does not come from the North, South, East or West but it comes from me.  Expand your thinking; expand your view of me and my Kingdom and your place in it. The former things have passed away and behold the new is before you. There are new solutions to old problems and novel solutions to new problems that I have for you to solve.  Taste and see that I am good. My reward is with me. You are not to be a part of the problem – you are part of the solution; you are a “solutionist”, a Kingdom Consultant, a worshiping warrior.

The enemy of your soul has placed devices between you and me and between you and the answers that you need – including financial breakthrough but I say you shall prosper and I am revealing those devices set against you and even those embedded devices in this season.  For many of you it seems like my blessings and breakthrough have been hidden or suspended but they have only been delayed slightly for you have been in a testing time especially over the last 2 or 3 years and it is NOW time to come into your reward and your inheritance promised by me.

I (Charles) see that many of us have parked our cars in the garage as it were and that there are many good vehicles sitting idle. I see the vehicles here as ministries and anointing that have been laid down.  The Lord is saying to pick up that mantle that was laid down which is a perfect fit for this season and back the car out of the garage and ride with Me!  Come, let’s ride together says the Lord.  Begin to drive with the top down (getting out of your mind and into His mind – Heaven’s ways and thoughts) and begin to feel again His presence blowing against your face.  For you are blessed and made whole by My presence and you shall never be ashamed of who you are and where you are going for I am have come like the refiner; I declare that I have made you pure in this hour for this day and for this people that I have called you to. So now I <strong>order</strong> my angels to come to your aid and to bring my word spoken over you to pass quickly for this is a time of release, release, release, says the Lord.

As Liz and I are vacationing in California we have had a chance to spend some time with some of the oldest living creatures on the planet – the giant Redwood trees in Northern California.

As I stood in front of a massive tree over 1800 years old called ‘The Grandfather” I realized that this tree was planted just a couple hundred years after Christ’s death and resurrection;  I also realized that there may be some lessons thing that I could learn from “grandfather”.

As I watched a video about the redwoods played in the national park site I learned that redwoods do not have deep root systems.  Their root systems only go 10-12 feet underground; but they do go wide – up to hundreds of feet.  Get this, one tree interlocks his roots with another tree so that they gain a surer footing and that they can share their water and food transport systems.  Another exciting feature of these trees is that an identical version of the tree lies dormant at the base of the trunk so if the tree gets into trouble, i.e. gets sick or dies, the twin comes to life and grows alongside the host tree in essence carrying on its legacy.

How do some of the redwood features apply to us a Christians and to our prayer lives?

Well, first for a tree to last as long as the redwoods the environmental conditions need to be just right for growth and protection.  We as Christians create our environment for spiritual and emotional growth through our prayer life.  Talking with God is fundamental to our livelihood, our growth and our longevity.  Have you had a talk with God today?

Liz had made a comment about the utter quietness in the redwood forest.  It’s almost like I can hear the redwoods talking to God as the wind rushes through their limbs.

Secondly, how can we ensure a long life and happiness?  Do what the redwoods do; interlock your root system with other believers.  Become accountable; do not try to “go it alone”.  Find and nurture what one leader calls “Bumper Buddies” – someone that can bump you back on the path when you stray off of it.

Finally, how can you live on when sickness or death strike? Well, like the redwood, duplicate yourself in others, whether they are your natural or spiritual children; pour your life into others and when you come to the end of your life; they can continue to carry the torch and continue your legacy and hopefully rise higher than you ever dreamed.

BE STRONG in the WAR with MAMMON!
In a CRISIS SEASON, the strategies of Heaven must invade your sphere of authority! Everyone has a portion. You have been positioned in a sphere of authority. You must understand your sphere of authority and know how to operate with others in that sphere. This sphere is where you are watching the formation of your “new”. A sphere is a circuit of motion, revolution or orbit. A sphere is also defined as a vast expanse where your heavenly realm appears. My favorite definition of sphere is a circuit of action, knowledge or influence that is both linked to the functional area of your involvement and every territory that is affected by you exercising authority. Within this expanse is an order of society that you can influence. In 2 Corinthians 10, Paul talks about what his sphere of influence includes and where he does not have certain authority to rule. This is where you enter the NEW!
For you to see what is happening new around you, you must shake off all discouragement, disillusionment, and disinterest! You must tell your emotions not to resist the NEW! You must believe that God has more for you. In other words, your latter can be greater than your former! You must go up into a new spiritual realm! Actually, you must GO BEYOND where you have been in the past!

There is much in war that we do not understand. War always involves casualties, and, at the same time, divine interventions of which we’re unaware. Sometimes war makes no sense to us. Yet, war is a part of life. And as we face the unfolding war that lies ahead in both the natural and spiritual realms, it is crucial that we adhere to Paul’s words to the people of Ephesus:
Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. We do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace (Eph. 6:10-15, NKJV).
In the midst of conflict, we must learn to stand until we see peace, until the perfect plan of God is manifest. We must stand until evil forces that oppose God’s will are pushed back. As long as the Spirit of God is still in the earth realm, He will use His people to stand against the evil that attempts to rule our world.
I hear the Spirit of God say to me, “There will always be wars and rumors of war. There will be many battlefields that unfold in the days ahead. Your future will be determined by how you trust Me on the battlefield. Lean not on your own understanding. In the midst of your conflict, I have a plan! There are some things that are still hidden from you. Trust Me so that in My perfect timing I can manifest the reason I called you to stand.”
Warfare seems to be increasing in the earth! This indicates that the enemy is on the run! One can turn on the news and quickly see that we are in a season of great unrest. A bomb attack was averted in Times Square in New York City, the Nashville region experienced unprecedented rainfall and flooding over the weekend, and a giant oil spill is poised to afflict great damage along the Gulf Coast. This will affect the economy greatly.
The real warfare is over our prospering in a changing world. Prosperity occurs when we enter into the fullness of God’s plan for our life. Just as He promised Abraham, He begins to bring us to our land. When we submit to His plan of prosperity for our lives, He cleanses us from all idolatry and unfaithful ways. This submission causes hearts of stone to be replaced with hearts of flesh (a tender heart to hear God). He places His Spirit within us. He then opens doors that are linked to abundance – not just worldly abundance, but abundance of revelation to understand who God our Creator is, through His son, as well as who we are. He blesses the works of our hands. He fills us with revelation. He gives us each a boundary and says, ‘Take Dominion! The war is over you taking dominion!
Prosper on every front! Be like Nehemiah! In his day, Nehemiah saw Jerusalem in ruins and began to rebuild walls, restore gates, hang doors, and ready the place for a new move of worship. Here are some keys for your victory ahead. You need to know:
1. How to enter the new season and think differently.
2. How to see and open your eyes to a greater demonic realm and stay in faith.
3. How to hear the Spirit of God and allow your gift to manifest in a new way.
4. How to co-labor with angels and ministering spirits.
5. How to receive your new assignment and enter your new mission field.
6. How to get into the next move of God.
7. How to express joy in a new way.
8. How to gain new vision and see your provision.
9. How to have a renewed mind and a restored, alive human spirit filled with Holy Spirit.
10. How to understand the enemy’s vexing power. Mammon is motivating many to give up and make wrong decisions. Stand firm.

Who is MAMMON?
The term “Mammon” predominantly signifies riches and wealth, but as Colin Brown, in The New International Dictionary of New Testament Theology, points out, “Material wealth can be personified as a demonic power, Mammon.”1 When our stewardship of wealth does not align with God’s purpose and plan, we open ourselves to demonic activity.
Covetousness can lead us away from God and encourages us to trust in our material possessions. When we turn our trust from God to money, we place ourselves in submission to a new master. Jack Hayford, in Hayford’s Bible Handbook, refers to Luke 16:13 in the following manner: “Jesus said that no one can serve two masters-God and money-at the same time, and makes Mammon a potential ‘master.’”2 When we attempt to serve both God and Mammon, instability and double-mindedness is produced within us. Mammon should be recognized as a god when it leads us into worship of material possessions.

How to Defeat this spirit!
Mammon will attempt to have you manage your resources but remain in slavery. Mammon will use you up and then convince you that you would be better off to die rather than press forward. Mammon will seduce you into cursing your inheritance and convince you to activate curses against your portion and increase. Mammon is deceptive and will lead you into presumption. You will hear a voice that sounds like God, like light, or like good religion. This voice will attempt to change your priority in giving. This voice will attempt to convince you that there is no appeal to God in prayer – the only option is to give in to your circumstance.
To overcome this spirit, you must operate by the Spirit and not by your own understanding. You must find new creative ways of giving. Even though at this time we need an additional $95,000, we have found incredible ways to give. Our biggest offering came from all of us as we celebrated Passover. This gathering helped shift the church into a new place of authority worldwide. We are helping Global Harvest Ministries and Peter and Doris Wagner as they make their transition to end one season and enter into a new season. We have blessed Israel in new ways, and several other ministries in the United States. We are also buying the necessary dubbing equipment for the

Church in Mongolia. Please assist us.
Refuse choices that activate curses. Do not allow your mouth to sin. Wait for your strategy to overcome, and do not engage until you have a confident strategy. One small word will fell this enemy. Do not be intimidated. When you find your word, you will shoot that word like an arrow into a tornado.

On Thursday night of our Watchman Intercessor Assembly, we had a powerful, divine encounter with God. Dutch Sheets delivered a tremendous message and then prophesied and encouraged the leadership to come to the platform. The Holy Spirit began to move mightily. As we continued to worship, I sensed that the birthing spirit was sweeping over us and more prophetic utterance came forth. I began to declare to the people that the Lord was birthing the Third Reformation in our midst. Several began to actually sense birthing pains. Several had visions of what was taking place and others saw angels ministering in our midst. I encouraged everyone to press in to God and make sure they received the birthing within their lives. Reports came later from some of our ministers who were watching by internet that they were entering in with us and experiencing the same things.

It was a time similar to the birthing of the Prophetic at the Wednesday night during our International Gathering of Apostles and Prophets in 1988. It so happened that our birthing of the Apostolic was on the Wednesday night of the IGAP in 1998 after Dutch Sheets had preached. Dutch asked me to come to the platform and pray and release the Father Heart of God to the people. After five minutes of praying I saw a vision of an angel bringing a great big flaming heart and placing it inside my chest. I went to my knees in intercession and for the next twenty minutes there was a birthing of the Apostolic within myself and CI. In 2007 we had a Saints Movement birthing at the Watchman Intercessor Assembly. Now in 2010 we have had the birthing of the Third Reformation.

Years ago I asked the Lord what is CI’s position and membership ministry within the Body of Christ. He said we were positioned and commissioned as a womb in the Body of Christ. We conceive the revelation of the new moves of God and then are pregnant with it for a period of time until God’s preordained time for birthing. It is now time to nurture the new child and help it grow to maturity and prophetic fulfillment. I believe that we are now to start receiving what God promised we would receive as those who worked with Him to propagate His Third Reformation purpose. God promised unlimited wisdom, power and financial resources to fulfill His purpose for the Third Reformation.

Those who plan to fully participate need to read my new book that brings the revelation of the Third Reformation, what it takes to fulfill and the time period it will cover. The book is titled Prophetic Scriptures Yet to be Fulfilled During the Third and Final Church Reformation. At the bottom of the front cover two statements describe more: “Kingdom Demonstration for World Transformation” and “The Church Fulfilling the Seven Mountain Mandate.”

Introduction
The International Coalition of Apostles (ICA), founded in 1999, now counts over 500 members. Membership requires nomination by at least two active ICA members, presuming that peer-level apostles are the most qualified to recognize fellow apostles. This statement has been processed with ICA members over a two year period and it is now issued as an official consensus statement. Certain ICA members may hold varying opinions regarding some of the details, but there is agreement on the general thrust and essence of this statement.

Definition
An apostle is a Christian leader gifted, taught, commissioned, and sent by God with the authority to establish the foundational government of the church within an assigned sphere of ministry by hearing what the Spirit is saying to the churches and by setting things in order accordingly for the extension of the kingdom of God.

Gifts and Ministries
Apostles, by definition, have been given the spiritual gift of apostle by the grace of God. This gift is listed among many others in 1 Corinthians 12. The same chapter, however, indicates that not all of those with the same gift have the same ministry, and not all those with the same ministry have the same activity (see 1 Cor. 12:4-6).
Many apostles minister primarily in the nuclear church, which takes the shape of congregations of believers that meet in church buildings or in homes or groupings of such congregations, while others minister primarily in the workplace. The first would be termed “nuclear church” apostles as over against “extended church”, or workplace, apostles.
Some are territorial apostles to whom God has given authority covering a certain geographical area such as a neighborhood or a city or a state or a nation. Others have authority in a certain social arena such as government or finances or media, etc.
Among those with the gift of apostle, some have the ministry of vertical apostle. This means that they are in an apostolic leadership position over a network of churches and ministries or a network of those who minister in a certain affinity sphere such as women or prayer or youth or worship, etc. Others are horizontal apostles who have a ministry of convening and connecting peers such as other apostles or pastors or prophets, etc.

Gifts and Offices
The gift of apostle, as in the case of all spiritual gifts, is given to believers by God as He pleases (see 1 Cor. 12:11, 18). Spiritual gifts are given only by the grace of God.

However, an office such as the office of apostle is not given by grace alone, but given as a result of works that have demonstrated faithfulness in stewarding the gift. If God has chosen to give a man or a woman the gift of apostle, the fruit of that gift will be evident to others and in due time the body of Christ will recognize the activation of the gift and confer the office of apostle on that person. This act is most often termed “commissioning,” and it is performed by peer-level apostles, as well as prophets, representing the church and laying on hands. The title “apostle” is ordinarily used only by those who have been duly commissioned into the office, although this principle has not yet been formalized in many situations.

Apostolic Spheres
There is no such thing as an apostle to the whole church. God assigns to each apostle certain spheres in which they exercise authority. Paul makes this clear in 2 Corinthians 10:13-16. There he says, “We, however, will not boast beyond measure, but within the limits of the sphere which God appointed us” (2 Cor. 10:13). Apostolic spheres can be ecclesiastical, functional, territorial (geographic), cultural, or workplace.

Qualifications of Apostles
Certain qualifications apply to all apostles, regardless of the different ministries or activities that may have been assigned to them by God. They include:
• Extraordinary character. Apostles fulfill the leadership requirements outlined in 1 Timothy 3:1-7. They take seriously the warning of James 3:1 that they will be judged with a stricter judgment than most other believers. They are holy (l Peter 1:15).
• Humility. Jesus said that only those who humble themselves will be exalted. Since apostles are exalted by God (See 1 Cor. 12:28), they must be humble in order to qualify.
• Leadership. Not all leaders are apostles, but all apostles are leaders. Apostles must have followers to verify their leadership role.
• Authority. The characteristic that most distinguishes apostles from other members of the body of Christ is the extraordinary authority that comes part and parcel with the gift of apostle. They gain their authority through fatherhood, not through arrogance or imposition.
• Integrity. Apostles are expected to display the integrity that will cause them to be “blameless” (1 Tim. 3:2) and “have a good testimony among those who are outside” (1 Tim. 3:7).
• Wisdom. True apostleship does not come without maturity, and maturity cultivates wisdom. Apostles have the God-given ability to see the big picture and to help others find their place in God’s plan.
• Prayer. While not all apostles would be intercessors per se, all have close contact with God through a disciplined and effective prayer life (Acts 6:4).

What All Apostles Do
• They receive revelation. Apostles hear what the Spirit is saying to the churches. Some of this revelation comes directly to them, some of it is received together with prophets, and other times through proper relationships with prophets.
• They cast vision. Their vision is based on the revelation they receive, grounded in the Scriptures.
• They birth. Apostles are self-starters who begin new things.
• They father. Apostles desire to see their sons and daughters in the faith rise higher in effective ministry than themselves.
• They impart life. God uses apostles to activate His blessings in others (Rom. 1:11).
• They build. Apostles strategize and find ways to carry a project along its intended course, including the funding that is required.
• They govern. Apostles are skilled in setting things in order. Along with prophets, they lay the biblical foundation of the kingdom and the church (Eph. 2:20).
• They teach. Early believers “continued steadfastly in the apostles’ teaching” (Acts 2:42).
• They send. Apostles send out those who are equipped to fulfill their role in extending the kingdom of God
• They finish. Apostles are able to bring a project or a season of God to its desired conclusion. They are uneasy until the project is done. They seldom burn out.
• They war. Apostles are the generals in the army of God. They lead the way in tearing down the strongholds of the enemy.
• They align generations. Apostles have a long-range perspective on the purposes of God and they raise up second tier leadership for the future.
• They equip. Ephesians 4:12 says that apostles equip the saints for the work of the ministry.
• They form apostolic teams. Apostles are not lone rangers, they are team players. They surround themselves with strong, committed leaders.
• They resolve conflicts. Apostles are on call to settle disputes among individuals and in churches and ministries.
• They discipline. Apostles deal with malfeasance and correct it through biblical methods of reprimand and punishment,

What Some Apostles Do.
Given the differences in temperaments, in ministries, in callings, in activities, and in geographical locations, many but not all apostles will be characterized by:
• Having seen Jesus.
• Performing signs and wonders.
• Exposing heresy.
• Planting new churches.
• Ministering cross-culturally.
• Taking back territory from the enemy, converting it to the kingdom.

Special Characteristics of Workplace Apostles
For the most part, workplace or extended church apostles will be expected to exhibit the same qualifications and move in the same activities as nuclear church apostles. However, because of their position in the workplace, certain sources of their apostolic authority will be somewhat different.
• Respect. The starting point for nuclear church apostles is ordinarily relationships, whereas the starting point for workplace apostles is respect. By this we mean that the authority of nuclear church apostles is derived largely from their anointing and their relationships. On the other hand, the authority of workplace apostles is derived from the respect they command from others in the workplace, authenticated by their successful track record. In the workplace, relationships ordinarily are earned through respect, not vice versa.
• Money. A major criterion for respect in the workplace is access to resources, particularly financial resources. Money commands respect, builds credibility, and confers authority more in the workplace than it might in the nuclear church. Money, however, is never the focus; it is regarded only as a necessary tool. Workplace apostles who are financially independent have an advantage over those who are dependent on others for their income.
• Risk taker. The road leading to apostolic authority in the workplace is a mine field. Along with the successes, workplace apostles have become accustomed to taking the hits. Most have lost much money and they have learned from it. However, by God’s grace, they fear no one, and they do not turn back because they know that God is not concerned about money.
• Renaissance person. Another criterion for respect is being perceived as a “Renaissance person.” These are individuals who have command of a broad spectrum of interests.
• Negotiating legal structures. Workplace apostles intuitively move through and around legal entanglements. They do not allow legal structures to set boundaries restricting what God can do. This ability is based on inter-workings of relationships built on trust.
• Position of influence. Authority also comes from the unusual influence one has in his or her determined sphere of the workplace. The seven molders of culture include family, religion, government, arts, media, business, and education. Each one has numerous subdivisions, and all have their specific rulebooks as to how influence is attained. Workplace apostles will know what their sphere or spheres are and they will have attained positions of influence within those spheres. The explicit overriding motivation for their use of influence is to glorify God.
• Kingdom mindset. Not every financially successful Christian leader in the workplace is, ipso facto, an apostle. Those who are will also have a kingdom mentality, meaning that their driving passion is to see God’s kingdom values permeate society on every level. They exhibit the expected characteristics of any apostle. They are actively involved in city or nation transformation as well as setting in order the “church” located in the workplace.
• Commissioning. The process for recognizing and commissioning workplace apostles is still under development and hopefully we will soon have a consensus in ICA as to how this should be done.

Part 1 of 5.

As business people we need to know why some of our prayers, prophetic words and dreams have not been fulfilled and are delayed.

The first explanation is “are we in known sin?” This may seem the most simple and obvious. However, sin is likened in the Bible to leaven. Leaven cannot be seen but has an affect of “puffing up” or causing the bread to rise -seemingly on it’s own. That is what sin does for us; it puffs us up or causes us to rise in pride. What does pride do to us? It blinds us (like the Apostle Paul on the road to Damascus) and causes destruction; Scripture says that pride comes before a fall, Prov. 16:18.

The more we as Christians allow sin to have its way and access to our lives, the more deceptive that the sin can become. Jeremiah said that the human heart is very deceptive and “who can know it”?

A solution? We need other people in our lives as Christians and business people. We need one or more “transparent” relationships. These types of relationships are critical to our spiritual and emotional well-being.

Do you have someone that knows you? Do you have someone who can speak into your life? Left to our own devices we will be deceived and ultimately fail in our assignments of God. Sin begets sin. “The wages of sin is death… ” Rom 6:23.

Choose life. Choose carefully who you allow in your life – but don’t put it off. That is what many business people do. Perhaps God is calling you to a transparent, prayer-backed relationship with someone who will love and challenge you to God’s best in your life.

Publishing the following word is risky at best. It is the most sobering word I have ever received. I have been praying about the word – even wanting to withhold its release. But I have asked the Lord for some confirmations and they have come. Please pray about the word and ask the Lord to speak to you about it. There seems to be a tendency in the prophetic of-late to not “upset the apple cart” and to be flowery and upbeat. We feel that this is a time to be responsible and to be sober and to call the times (and the fight) like we see it.

Coming over to us, he [Agabus] took Paul’s belt, tied his own hands and feet with it and said, “The Holy Spirit says, ‘In this way the Jews of Jerusalem will bind the owner of this belt and will hand him over to the Gentiles.’ ” When we heard this, we and the people there pleaded with Paul not to go up to Jerusalem. – Acts 21:11-12

In my own personal spiritual pilgrimage, God has allowed me to come into relationship with those in the Body of Christ who are called to a greater level of intercessory prayer. God calls each of us to be intercessory prayer warriors, but there are individuals in the Body of Christ who are called to be frontline warriors and who are more skilled in the area of intercession. These individuals often can have a gift of prophecy as part of their intercessory anointing. Such appears to be the case of Agabus in the Book of Acts.

Agabus seems to have received a word from God, and by way of a physical demonstration, tied his belt around Paul to let him know that he would be bound in Jerusalem if he went to this city. Agabus and the others immediately drew a conclusion that he was not to go to Jerusalem. Paul disagreed and proceeded to Jerusalem where he was, in fact, bound and beaten after giving testimony to the people and religious leaders of Jerusalem.

God calls intercessors to the role of seeing. He calls leaders to the role of interpreting actions.

God allows intercessors to see a more complete picture. However, actions are never left for the intercessors to determine. Conversely, leaders need to get the spiritual picture of what they are dealing with. This is why they need gifted intercessors. They must not make the mistake of believing they can see the entire picture without the intercessors. Once they have the intercessors’ insights, they must determine the right course of action. This is their role. Conflicts arise when either tries to fulfill both roles.

Paul knew he was to go to Jerusalem, even if it meant being beaten. He did go and was beaten. However, we sense that he made the right decision based on Jesus’ comments to him in Acts chapter 23, verse 11: “The following night the Lord stood near Paul and said, ‘Take courage! As you have testified about Me in Jerusalem, so you must also testify in Rome.’ ”

Pray that God will bring intercessors and leaders into your life. He wants you to have a complete picture of the situations you face each day and to know the actions necessary for fulfilling His will for your life.
